Shepherd Huts

Our Lapwing Double Shepherd Hut (named after the ground-nesting birds we sometimes see at Louma) is the perfect place to contemplate nature.

With cheerful tones of mustard and grey, and clad in oak, the huts are connected by a glass walkway, with bi-fold doors providing privacy in each. There’s both an outdoor and indoor shower, one double bed and a double sized pull-down bed. You can write or eat at the dining table, or on the veranda, and there’s wood burning fire to keep you cosy in the winter months.

Look closely at the Tiffany blue wallpaper and you’ll notice hares, not golden swirls, dancing across the walls.

Painted in cheerful salmon pinks and dusky corals, Eland is the perfect place to chill out. You’ll see green hills from the sink, and sunset from the bathroom.

There’s a private garden, dining table and woodburning stove to keep you warm in winter. Nights will be snug in your pull-down bed, until you welcome the new morning.
